I have done local A/L s in this year in bio stream and I got 3S passes and I hope to do the IAL (edexcel) next year in same bio stream.
I want to know, can I pass that exam by preparing for it from just 6 months (3 units from bio, chemistry and physics)? And will it hard for me?

Since you have done local AL its easy for you to do edexcel. By the coming october session you can finish all 6 papers if you start now itself.

IAL one subject has 6 units. 3 units for AS and 3 for AL for every subject . I would suggest u to do AS papers in 2020 October exam and AL in 2020 May. Then u will be able to manage time and prepare well. If u have done local AL in English medium everything would be fine, and u know almost all the theory. So u will need only to do past papers , but hire experienced teachers for that.
I can do Physics and maths to As level
Yes you have a great chance to succeed with a good commitment
Dear Nathasha,
Indeed, you can do it. You should do it. 6 months is more than enough if you can committed yourself really into work. As you have done local A/L which is extremely deep and tough and obtain 3 passes mean you have fundamental knowledge. What you need is little push and commitment. Even you can do local A/L successfully if you are really determined. If you into IAL, it will be nothing to you with your achievement.
Definitely 6 months enough. Last year I did with a student who has learned Cambridge stream in Local syllabus at last two months and she got a A grade for biology. Only 400 pages in Resources book and 10 past papers enough for biology. Best of Luck.
I have chosen physics, pure maths and physics as my subjects for the edexcel AS examination. Can I write the exam in 3 months and get 3As. I have done my o levels.
