I will be conducting a few English as a main subject classes for
A/L candidates. Unless required otherwise, the emphases will be on
re-reading the prescribed literary texts for familiarity and developing
your essays and other responses through practice. There will be a
considerable amount of homework. This would be most ideal for those who
are attempting high A and B passes and have already covered the
literature portion at school or elsewhere.
Please note: I do not conduct General English classes, nor can I have
classes for students sitting A/L in and beyond. The rates,
frequency and duration of classes can be negotiated on the
student/group needs. Feel free to email me a small selection of scanned
copies of your recent answers to exam questions so that I can assess
your competence in advance.
I hold Bachelor's (Colombo) and Master's (the US) degrees in English. I
have years of university level teaching experience in the US in
addition to providing A/L help.
