I have an A pass for Maths in O/L and I want to be an Architect. Please advice what subjects I need to select in A/L to become an Architect.
I am currently interested in doing Political Science for the Art Stream in A/Ls. I am still in Grade 9 and I've started deciding my future since the start of this month.
I noticed that Political Science is only available for students in Sinhala Medium, but I am studying IN English medium.
I see two ways to tackle this challenge:
- Do A/Ls in Sinhala (I am a Sinhalese)
- Choose another stream
Is there any other ways to do Political Science for A/Ls? Do you think I should choose another stream instead ? Let me know your thoughts.

I did A/L in Bio stream but I passed only two subjects.
I have a diploma in Construction Technology (NVQ 6) but when I apply for Government jobs they ask for 3 passes in A/Ls.
Since I need to get 3 passes in A/Ls, I am going to sit for A/Ls again. I assume that I should be able to get 3 passes in A/Ls easily in Arts stream than in Bio stream. Therefore I decided to changed my stream from Bio to Arts.
Which subjects can I select in Arts stream? How can I apply for the exam? I am 29 years old.

I have a problem. In Sri Lankan schools there are 13 grades. But I left school in grade 12. And did my A/L exam as a private candidate. I passed from exam. According to my School leaving certificate I passed grade 12 and I studied in grade 13.
Will it be a problem to enter a foreign university?

විදේශ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයකට ඇතුළු වීමට එය ප්‍රශ්නයක් වෙයිද?
