I have a problem. In Sri Lankan schools there are 13 grades. But I left school in grade 12. And did my A/L exam as a private candidate. I passed from exam. According to my School leaving certificate I passed grade 12 and I studied in grade 13.
Will it be a problem to enter a foreign university?

As there is a delay in government examinations, and the instability of the country, is it worth doing the Cambridge syllabus or attending a private campus for a software engineering degree, without doing a level (local syllabus)?
Currently my child is studying abroad in Grade 9, and willing to continue her studies in Sri Lanka in English medium Private School - local syllabus.
My question is, Is it compulsory to study at least 5 Years in Sri Lanka for getting university entry eligibility.
If she studies from Grade 10 onwards or from end of Grade 9 in Sri Lanka, then she will not be eligible for local university after her A/L?
