My daughter sat for AL exam twice in Bio stream and she wants to do the exam for the 3rd time in arts stream.
She completed her competency project at the school.
Is it necessary to do a project again? and need to register in the provincial council also ?

2019 A/l 2 nd shy old syllabus එකෙන් exam කලා.මට 2020 3 shy exam කරනවා නම් old syllabus එකෙන් කරන්න පුළුවන් ද ? නැත්නම් new syllabus එකෙන් කරන්න වෙයිද?

We are doing A/L in 2019. That will be our first shy and we will get
exam papers based on the new syllabus.
In that year, 2018 A/L students will do their 2nd shy and 2017 A/L
students will do their 3rd shy. These students will get exam papers
based on the old syllabus.
So in 2019 there will be two different sets of exam papers for the old
and new syllabuses.
So how will they select students for the Medical faculty in 2019?
One of my sons is preparing for his A/Ls in local syllabus physical
science stream in Sinhala medium (Double Maths, Physics and Chemistry) in Aug'20.
As his ambition is to be an airline pilot, he wants try Cambridge A/Ls
in the same stream May-June 2020 examinations. But we found that a
private candidate could not do Physics & Chemistry due to the
practical works to be completed along with the course works.
Is there any way of getting them completed and sit the exam as a
private candidate in May-June 2020 ?
Please advise.

මම දෙවෙනි වාරය විදියට A/L exam කරන්න ඕන වෙන වතාවෙදි, exam එකට ගියේ නෑ. ඒ වතාවෙදි ඒ දේට හේතුවුණු දේ නිසා medical report එකක් ගත්තා.
මේ year එකේදි pvt විදියට exam එකට ලියන්න වුණා, ඒ application එකේදි දෙවෙනි වාරය විදියට තියෙන්න ඕනවෙන විදියටයි ඇතුළත් කළේ.
මට දැනගන්න ඕන මේ දේ -
මට එකම බලාපොරොත්තුව විදියට මේ එන year එකේදි ආයෙමත් A/L exam එක කරගන්න ඕන.
මට ඒ දේ පුළුවන්ද? ඒ ගන්න වුණු medical report එක ඒ දේට අවශ්‍ය වෙනවා නේද.?
වගේම පුළුවන් වෙනවා නේද වගේම ප්‍රශ්නයක් වෙන්නෙ නෑ නේද.?

But now I wish to sit for A/L examination as a private candidate.
Is it possible for me to sit only for A/L physics examination as a private candidate? what are the procedures and requirements?
