Qualifications Required

. Early Childhood Education Degree (BA)
. NVQ in Early Childhood Care & Development - Level
. NVQ Pre-School Teacher (Early Childhood Development) - Level
You must also have pass in O-Level Maths and English.

We are a group of independent nurseries based in the UK, with settings all over London. We look after children aged months to years. We are a day care setting plus we offer educational opportunities all to our children (including Pre-School).

Requirements of the role
- Previous experience of working in day-care with young children (experience feeding, changing, putting children to sleep is required)
- The candidate must have a Level in Early Years or equivalent qualification (or above) to be able to provide teaching opportunities at an age-appropriate level to all children
- Must have a desire to provide high quality childcare to ensure each child reaches their full potential
- A commitment to continuous professional development
- Strong communication and partnership building with parents
- A brilliant team player
- This position is for to hours per week
This position will involve:
- Applying your knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to provide bright and inspirational teaching
- Safeguarding the children you care for to prevent harm
- Providing loving personal care and comfort to the children
- Working in a strong team with your colleagues
- Operate educational programmes to meet the individual needs and interests of children being cared for
- Attend nursery meetings and training events
- Engage in good team working
- Develop and maintain strong partnership and communication with parents/ carers to facilitate day to day caring and early learning needs
- Undertake certain domestic jobs e.g. preparation of snack meals, cleaning equipment
- To ensure good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness are always maintained
