SENIOR LECTURER GRADE I / GRADE II, LECTURER (UNCONFIRMED) / LECTURER
(PROBATIONARY) DEPARTMENT OF TECHNOLOGY
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Deliver lectures, practical, and tutorials to undergraduate students.
* Mentor students in academic and research activities.
* Contribute to curriculum revision and development in accordance with
Pearson BTEC HND standards.
* Participate in departmental and university-level activities as
required.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
* B.Sc. degree with relevant subjects in the fields of Cell Biology,
Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Clinical Biochemistry,
Bioinformatics, Biomanufacturing, Clinical Microbiology, Immunology,
Anatomy & Human Physiology, Chemistry.
OR
* B.Sc. Biomedical Science degree with relevant subjects in the fields
of Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Clinical
Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biomanufacturing, Clinical Microbiology,
Immunology, Anatomy & Human Physiology, Chemistry.
OR
* B. Tech degree, with relevant subjects in the fields of Cell Biology,
Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Clinical Biochemistry,
Bioinformatics, Biomanufacturing, Clinical Microbiology, Immunology,
Anatomy & Human Physiology, Chemistry.
EXPERIENCE
Proven teaching, research, or industry experience in areas relevant to
the subjects listed above.
Special Note: Candidates with postgraduate qualifications (preferably a
PhD / MPhil / MSc) in Biotechnology or a closely related discipline OR
BSc (Hons) in Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Biochemistry (or
similar modifiers in the title) OR BBST (Hons) in Bioprocess Technology
/ Biotechnology (or similar modifiers in the title), OR BSc (Hons) in
Agriculture degree specialized in Biotechnology or Biological Science
will be preferred.
