VACANCY - POST OF PRINCIPAL
Alethea School, located in the heart of Dehiwala, is seeking a dynamic, visionary, and experienced leader to serve as Principal. As an institution committed to fostering academic excellence, holistic development, and moral values, we are looking for an individual who can lead the school into its next phase of growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide effective leadership and management for the school.
* Oversee academic programs, extracurricular activities, and school operations.
* Ensure a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.
* Promote a culture of excellence in teaching and learning.
* Engage with students, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative school community.
* Develop and implement school policies and initiatives in alignment with Alethea Schools values.
* Represent the school in educational forums, conferences, and community events.
* Liaising with Educational Ministry for all school matters
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
* Degree in Education, or a related field
* Minimum of years of experience in Teaching, with at least years in School Management.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proven track record of academic leadership, with a commitment to high educational standards.
* Ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a diverse school community.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
* Knowledge of current educational trends and the ability to incorporate them into school practices.
* Strong understanding about the National curriculum
