TVIC has developed a teacher training diploma which is to commence
its courses from July . The aim of this is to develop and train
teachers in the following areas:
A knowledge and understanding of the relevant national
curriculum programmes of study for your subjects.
Planning and preparing lessons and setting learning objectives.
Using information and communication technology effectively.
Managing classes, promoting good behaviour and minimising
disruptions.
Awareness of the professional values expected of teachers, in
their attitudes and behaviour towards pupils, colleagues and local
community.
