We are a small close knit school community, situated in a secure residential
area in the suburbs of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
In 1993, our school was set up with a belief in the incredible potential of the
child and the desire to create a holistic school environment that would nurture
and inspire this potential. La Petite Fleur Montessori House of Children follows
the principles of Dr Maria Montessori and is dedicated to implement the
Montessori method with the highest standard.
The Montessori school accommodates nearly 180 children with a maximum of 26 in
one class. Aptly furnished classrooms which are bright and cheerful, in a
well-resourced, purpose built environment, have mixed age groups of children
between the ages of 2 ½ years to 5 ½ years, in keeping with the Montessori
philosophy.
