Hello everyone,
I am excited to introduce myself as a physics teacher on this platform. I hold a Master's degree in Physics from National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan and have completed coursework for a Master's in Physics of Materials from the University of Peradeniya.
My research in Physics was focused on quantum optics, where I concentrated on theoretical calculations on the behavior of artificial atoms.
I have experience as a teaching assistant in both Sri Lanka Rajarata University and National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan.
As an educator, I am easy-going but goal-oriented and passionate about helping students achieve their full potential in physics. I believe that a strong foundation in the basics of physics is essential for success. Therefore, my teaching approach emphasizes building a solid understanding of fundamental concepts before moving on to more complex topics. With practice and hard work, any student can become proficient in physics.
I also understand the importance of utilizing technology and modern tools to facilitate learning. As such, I am proficient in using Python programming for numerical calculations, which can aid in solving complex problems and understanding abstract concepts.
My goal as a teacher is to make physics accessible and engaging for students of all levels. I encourage active participation and create a supportive learning environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking. By working together, we can achieve academic success and develop lifelong skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
