Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Education / Science /
Humanities / Arts or other related field from a recognized University.
- Minimum of years secondary school teaching experience
with a proven record of Leadership.
- Experience in school administration.
- Excellent command of English with proficiency in either
Tamil or Sinhala. Those applicants who are trilingual will be given
preference.
- Computer literate.
- A Master's degree in Education / Science / Humanities /
Arts or other related field from a recognized University will be an
added qualification.
Specific Requirements:
- Take the lead in Academic Administration and cooperate with
the Board to govern the school.
- Should possess excellent leadership qualities to enhance
and maintain academic norms, tact and ability to interact with staff
members, students, parents and international/national educational
authorities.
- Provide leadership to the staff in guiding the students
through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to reach levels
of excellence.
- Should proactively participate in parental and community
involvement, foster the rich school spirit and traditions and
demonstrate a clear vision to support the school's mission and
strategic plans.
