The Confucius Institute at University of Colombo will entertain applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of Assistant Lecturer on Assignment Basis.
Position Information:
- Tenure: months only
- Working Hours: hours/week (specifically subject to local employment requirements).
- Teaching Hours: at least class hours/week (each class hour is calculated as minutes)
Requirement:
- Applicant needs to be Sri Lankan citizens, or with legal statuses such as Sri Lanka permanent residency or long-term residence permit (excluding Chinese students).
- Applicant should be qualified with a bachelor's degree or above.
- Applicant should possess at least one academic year of Chinese language teaching experience.
- Applicant should at least reach marks of HSK , and marks of HSKK Advanced Level of Chinese proficiency tests.
- Priority will be given to the applicant who has the International Chinese Teacher Certificate issued by the Language Cooperation Center in China.

) Applicants who pass the preliminary review will call for onsite interview.
