Applications will be entertained up to th of March from suitably
qualified female applicants for the following posts at the Day Care
Centre of the University of Colombo
Pre School Teacher (Female)
=====================
Qualifications:
Three passes in G.C.E. (A/L) examination
and
Higher Certificate or Diploma in Pre-School Education from a recognized
University / Institute
Or
Passed in Pre-School Teachers training course (NVQ Level ) at
National Vocational Training Authority)
Experience:
At least two years teaching experience in a recognized Pre-School and
ability to teach in Sinhala and English
Age:
Between - years
Monthly Remuneration:
Rs. ,/= (An all inclusive payment). Statutory Payments are made in
terms of Labour Regulations.
Day Care Assistant (Female)
=======================
Qualifications:
Passed G.C.E. (O/L) Examination with six subjects at not more than two
sittings with credit passes in three subjects incuding English and
Mathematics and Certificate in Pre-School Education from a recognized
University / Institute
Experience:
At least three years experience in a recognized Day Care Centre
Age:
Between - years
Monthly Remuneration:
Rs. ,/= (An all inclusive payment). Statutory Payments are made in
terms of Labour Regulations.
Day Care Attendant (Female)

Qualifications:
Passed in six subjects at G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in not more than two
sittings
Experience:
At least three years experience in a recognized Day Care Centre
Age:
Between - years
Monthly Remuneration:
Rs. ,/= (An all inclusive payment). Statutory Payments are made in
terms of Labour Regulations.
General Conditions
===============
These appointments are on an assignment basis initially for a period of
one year. However, the University may consider to extend the
service of the selected candidate depending on their satisfactory
performance during the period of assignment.
