S. Thomas' College Mount Lavinia will commence the STC Nursery School
from January and invites applications from teachers dedicated to
early childhood learning and care to be a part of our new nursery team.
Vacancies exist for the following
- Head Teacher
- Class Teachers
- Assistant Teachers
All applicants must have
- A teaching qualification in Pre-school or Montessori
preferably with some knowledge of Child Psychology
- Teaching experience in a Nursery for a minimum of to
years
- Good organizational and teamwork skills
- Sound written and verbal communication skills in English
- A good level of computer literacy
- Basic Knowledge of First Aid
- Ability to undertake administrative tasks if and when
required
Applicants for the Head Teacher must have a minimum of years
relevant experience in addition to the above requirements.
Candidates with experience and qualifications in Special Needs
Education will have an added advantage.
All teachers will be expected to strictly follow the Childcare
Regulations and Standards and ensure a clean and safe learning
environment for the children.
