Applications will be received up to .. from suitably qualified
persons for the following posts. Applications should be made on the
prescribed form obtainable from the Postgraduate Institute of English.
Post of Senior Lecturer / Lecturer in English (On Contract)
Preference will be given to applicants with PhD qualifications and
teaching, research and work experience in the following areas:
* Teaching Literature
* Feminist and postcolonial literatures
* Postcolonial and feminist theory
* Academic writing and reading
* Programme coordination
* Student support and mentoring

Applicants from Higher Educational Institutions, Government Departments
and Government Corporations should apply through the Heads of their
Institutions. Applications wichi do not conform to these requirements
will be rejected. The PGIE reserves the right to shortlist the
candidates.
