Can my son do A/L Engineering Technology without O/L Science?
My son did OL in 2016 and got 6 subjects passed including Maths and Sinhala with 2 credits. But he failed Science. Will he be allowed to do AL in 2019 as a private candidate in Engineering Technology stream? (he is using hearing aids)

Yes, he can face for the examination as a private candidate but cannot do the exam as a school candidate.
Can I do technology stream in A/L in 2019 but I have failed science? But I can pass it. So until that can I go to a school?
Yes, he is eligible to do the AL but you have to check with examination department for clarification

Draft an application with evidence of hearing aid usage and since when, also provide proof of any examination permission granted from any private or government, local or international course taken.
Compile all this documents file and submit to the education department directly with the application duly supported / authorised by Gramasevak Letter.
