I have applied for 2017 A/L biology stream and this is my first attempt. I have sent my application from the school. My question is, due to a private concern I cannot sit for the exam this year so if I sit for the exam next year will it be displayed as my first attempt or second attempt? (because in first attempt I won't sit for the exam)

You have to provide a valid medical certificate issued by government hospital.
Rather than that you must keep your admission card to prove that you didn't sit for the exam.

I think that you need to provide a medical certificate to protect your 3rd shy. Attaching 2017 admission card will not be sufficient.

Yes I saw your problem. however you registered & issued application for sit first shy examination. However I can give solution for you, have you medical or another reasonable thing, that can will be to take a chance.

Without a medical certificate your next attempt will be consider as second attempt. But If you provide your valid Medical certificate before the last date of A/L exam to the Exam center then you'll be consider as a fresh applicant. I suggest you to provide a Medical certificate which is taken from Government Hospital.
To get a medical as the reason and produce it . Also the admission card should be kept secure as the proof to show that this person didn't sit for his first attempt
I think you already got the answer. I am a A/L chemistry teacher since 7 years. From my experience I will give you an advice. Lot of students are afraid of sitting A/L examination when it comes to their first attempt in science stream. They provide so many reasons to avoid the exam in first time. It may be cause they did not get ready for the exam well or sometimes it cause unwanted fear for the exam. If and only if you have valid reason to sit exams for the next time it is ok. But keep in your mind, you cannot get real time A/L examination experience by your own. First attempt is like a gift for you. So think wise and I strongly recommend to sit for the exams. And do whatever you want. do not worry are about the shy. Get the experience. Wish you all the best.
Before exam start submit a medical report from authorized government medical officer. That is the only option you have.

I applied for the A/L (my 3rd shy) in Art stream in this year (2017).
I have received the admission, but I do not wish to do A/Ls in this year because I have to face another important exam.
So I need to postpone my A/Ls to next year.
How can I do it?

I sat for ALs in 2016 in Maths stream. Now I need to do my second attempt but I didn't do my second attempt in 2017. I applied to do it in 2017 but I didn't even get my admission because I decided to do my second attempt in 2018. So I've few questions regarding this,
1) Is this my second attempt or it is considered as my third attempt because I applied for it in 2017. But I didn't sit for any subjects in 2017.
2) If this is my second attempt can I apply for my ALs from school?

I had to face the A / L exam in 2019 for the first time but I could not write the exam due to a sudden illness and had to be hospitalized. I applied for the exam in 2019 and 2020 as a private applicant. I wrote the exam in 2020for the first time. So how many more times can I write the exam? In 2019 I only got admiration and just didn't face the exam.

I faced first attempt in advanced level in 2020 and again I sat for my second attempt in 2021. If I applied for general English I could not sit for it. So can i use my first result in job interview ? Is that valid one or not pls?
I have signed for the a/l application. But I won't sit for the exam this time. So I didn't sign and get admission. Will it be counted as a shy if I didn't sign admission even though I have applied?
