Hii , I got engaged before finished G.C.E A/L examination. Can I write exam through Cambridge A/L?? Please reply me.i am 2022 A / L batch
In my point of view, it doesn't have big different. But you have to study the pattern of local syllabus. Therefore my recommend is you should follow the local syllabus.
The profound knowledge in both syllabus types are different. It is vital for you to study the key terms of the local syllabus. The knowledge of the Cambridge examination will only give you the background of business studies. However it is vital for you to research and do few classes through a local tutor to comprehend their requirements writing standard and relevant jargon.
Of course you can sit with the Cambridge knowledge. Cambridge syllabus is little advance and there could only be small difference between the national syllabus and the Cambridge.
Dear Student it is depend on your Career Goal, If you have any plane to Migrate Foreign Countries To Follow a degree Or Higher Diploma Cambridge syllabus is Better than Local one for you But there is No Vast difference between two.
Dear student
It is not advisable to do so because there are many aspects that are different.
You should go through the past papers at least of the local exams so that you can get a understanding of same
Thanks
Dear Student,
There are differences obviously on the content. But basics are the same. You will have to go through the local AL syllabus. It is possible still.
Of course it is possible to sit for national A level with the knowledge of CIE .even though there is no vast differenc to get very good result must follow national syllabus.
Dear Student,
Can sit for the national exam with the knowledge of Cambridge but it must to go through the national books, it is necessary to know the cases/examples which are related to Sri Lanka.
Basic is same.
Dear student,
Only Economics theory part you can do. It means the part I (MCQ) first 30 questions or alike. And 4 questions from part II (Section A), you may try. But have to have a deep awareness in Central Bank reports, Sri Lanka budget and latest economic changes in the country and at least up to South Asian context.
Cambridge business studies syllabus is different from National A/L syllabus. So do not be complicated with it.
You better try past question papers of both syllabuses and see the link or the similarity. But I strictly recommend you to refer both syllabuses separately and work separately
