William Angliss Institute @ SLIIT, is Sri Lanka's largest private
specialized training center for Tourism, Hospitality, Events and Food
studies. Based in the SLIIT campus in Malabe.
Our facilities at the institute includes the largest training kitchen
in the country, a model accommodation suite and state of the art
equipment and practical space, including a functioning restaurant. The
courses are designed with industry needs in mind and work to ensure
that our graduates are industry job ready from the day they graduate.
Preferred Candidate
Minimum 5 years in teaching accredited hospitality or culinary
qualifications and a high level of industry experience. Experience in
Events is desirable. Qualification minimum is either a Hospitality
Management Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management or
cooking qualification (or equalent)
Professional Skills
Minimum 5 years in teaching accredited culinary qualifications and a
high level of industry experience. Candidate must hold a culinary
qualification and experience in pastry and cooking is desired.
Language Skills
Fluent in English (Written and Verbal)
Requirements
Candidates must have the required knowledge and understanding of
academic curriculum, training packages / delivery and academic
compliance and standards.
Candidates must have proven industry experience and overseas industry/
and or teaching experience is desired.
