Wesley College with nearly 3000 students, has a history of 150 years and was founded by the Methodist Missionaries in 1874. As a Christian school, based firmly on Christian principles, we aim at maximizing the potential of our students in a holistic manner.
We are looking for ambitious, qualified & experienced candidates to teach the below mentioned subjects & candidates should be graduates with at least 2 - 3 three years of experience.
1) Physics - Advanced Level section
2) Tamil Language & Literature - Middle & Upper School
3) Geography [English Medium] - Middle & Upper School
4) Head of Sports
The ideal candidate, below 55 years of age, will be responsible for the overall coordination of Sports activities of the College and should have deep appreciation of the rule of Sports, building character and confidence.
Requirements:
- Qualifications related to the field of Sports and Physical Training would be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity would be an advantage.
- Should possess the knowledge of a variety of sports, both individual and team. Good PR skills with the ability to liaise and coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including academic staff, parents, Sports coaches, officials of Ministries and other sports bodies.
- Strong communication skills in English would be an added advantage.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students in the field of Sports and Games and should be able to manage / supervise a team of sports, teachers and instructors.
- Strong planning and organizational skills especially in Sports events of the School.
- Should possess a relentless drive for excellence.
- Remuneration for the above position will be negotiable and based on qualifications and experience.
