Colombo Horse Riding Academy is a new purpose-built facility situated
in a beautiful location only a few minutes from Central Colombo. We are
in a village and countryside setting, next to a beautiful lake with
birds & wildlife. Being in a natural environment is best for
the health and happiness of our horses.
Our head coach was trained in New Zealand, and is qualified by the
International Equestrian Federation (FEI) as an Equestrian Sports Coach.
Working with horses is challenging physically and helps to develop
fitness, strength, stamina & agility. It also involves moral
leadership, determination, and coolheadedness. Most of all it is fun.
- Private lessons - small group or individual bookings of one
hour, focusing on skills development.
- Horse Riding Course - a multiweek program of double the
riding, we do various activities like going outside for trail rides,
games, showjumping, etc
- Pony Club - Sunday evenings from pm until : we have a
group session where each child gets a ride and can spend some time at
the stables.
