We are a Private National School guided by the Buddhist Philosophy
teaching the National curriculum in the English medium to take up
examinations conducted by the Department of Examination of the Ministry
of Education, Sri Lanka.
Our student population is over and our staff strength is over ,
incorporated in , and reached years in January . We have
branches at Kalutara, Kelaniya, Maharagama and Kurunegala.
We are looking for qualified and experienced personnel for immediate
engagement the Academic Department of our Nawala Branch.
Academic and Professional Qualifications - Certificate / Diploma /
Higher Diploma in Early Childhood Education / Primary Education from
the Open University of Sri Lanka, any state or UGC approved foreign
universities in Sri Lanka or abroad, or from any institute of repute
registered with Tertiary Education Authority or Teacher Training
Certificate from NIE or any College of Education.
Graduates of any state or foreign University also considered.
Achievements in sports and aesthetic activities is an added advantage.
Fluency in English is an essential prerequisite.
Experience - Minimum of years’ experience in a school of
repute/a nursery in Sri Lanka preferably teaching local curriculum
preferably in English medium.Those who have experience in teaching for
British examinations may apply. Those who possess foreign exposure will
have an added advantage.
Personality and Characteristics - Flair and passion for teaching and
possess teaching skills with a long-term vision for a teaching career.
Have care, love and affection for children.
A dynamic and pleasing personality, ability to work independently.
Competent, self-driven, obedient, listening, innovative, accepts
challenges, takes responsibility, and has a positive attitude towards
work.
Networking with peers and others for win-win situation and maintain
institutional harmony.
Considers teaching as a noble profession and not as a vocation.
Age - Between years to years. Those retired from state service
but below years and of perfect health will be considered.
