Faculty of Humanities and Sciences
SLIIT is the leading non-state degree awarding institute approved by
the University of Grants Commission and the Ministry of Higher
Education in Sri Lanka. The institution expanded its higher education
teaching expertise from IT to the fields of education and humanities
related qualifications through the launch of the Faculty of Humanities
and Sciences. The Faculty was launched in July with the aim of
catering to the growing demand for Humanities. Natural Sciences and
Social Sciences related qualifications in Sri Lanka. The Faculty offers
a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in the
areas of Education, Science, Biotechnology, Psychology, Nursing,
Mathematics and Law. The Faculty has an experienced and continuously
expanding panel of full time academic who also include four
professors and seven PhD holders.
We are inviting top rated applicants for permanent position at the
Senior Lecturer and Lecturer levels. The appointees will contribute to
the research and teaching in the broad area of Education in information
Technology.
Qualifications Required
Lecturer / Senior Lecturer
*Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Information Technology and
*Postgraduate Diploma in Education or/and
*Masters in Education (Preferably specializing in IT)
OR
*Bachelors (Hons) of Education and
*Master of Science in Information Technology
Experience Required
*Lecturer - at least year experience in teaching at degree level and
minimum research publications.
*Senior Lecturer - At least years experience in teaching at degree
level and good publication record in reputed journals
