Colombo Institute of Research and Psychology (CIRP) is the leading
private higher education provider in Psychology in South Asia, with
over 600 students from Sri Lanka and neighboring countries studying at
undergraduate and post graduate level.
Currently CIRP employs around 25 full time faculty members and an equal
number of visiting and part time lecturers. Our research wing is
involved with both local and international research projects and that
provides opportunities to the academic staff to be involved in research
giving them international exposure.
CIRP is an autonomous franchisee branch of Coventry University UK, a
top 12 British University. Staff of CIRP are frequently trained by
Coventry University staff who travel to Sri Lanka often and are also
invited to UK for specialized training programs.
We are looking for suitably qualified individuals who are experience
din teaching the above languages to join CIRP's Language development
unit.
Lecturer (Grade I) - Full Time / Part Time*
- A Postgraduate level academic or professional qualification
in the particular language.
- Minimum 1 year experience in teaching University Level or 3
years in School level.
- Experience in teaching the particular language in English
medium is a must.
- Excellent command of English language, excellent IT skills
is a must.
Lecturer (Grade II) - Full Time / Part Time*
- A Bachelors' Degree or professional qualification in the
particular language.
- Minimum 1 year experience in teaching University Level or 3
years in School level.
- Experience in teaching the particular language in English
medium is a must.
- Excellent command of English language, excellent IT skills
is a must.
Trainee Lecturer - Full Time
- A Bachelors' Degree or professional qualification in the
particular language.
- Excellent command of English language, excellent IT skills
is a must.
- Experience in teaching in English medium is an added
advantage.
- Experience in teaching at any level is an added advantage.
*Part time lecturing is available on Saturday Morning / Afternoons
and/or Weekdays after 4.00 p.m.
