Sri Lanka’s largest higher education network is looking for
talented young graduates with a passion for teaching to join their
academic panel.
Ideal applicant should be a graduate in Science (BSc Hons from a State
University preferred) with Computing / IT taken as a major subject in
the undergraduate programme. The candidate should be a fast learner
with a real interest towards teaching. They should posses a good
command of English, to be able to deliver lectures in English medium.
Prior teaching experience is not expected, but we are looking for
candidates with good presentation skills.
Candidates with additional technical certifications (Microsoft, Oracle,
Java, CCNA) will have an added advantage.
Job Responsibilities
- Conducting of lecturers for
range of diplomas and some degrees (year )
- Contribute to development of
course material and lecture presentations.
- Involve in product
improvement programmes
Training Period
- short listed candidates
will be given one month comprehensive training in Colombo on IT
subjects including Programming, Database Technologies, Networking and
Application Packages. Candidates should find their own logistic
arrangements and ESOFT will pay an allowance during this period.
Selection Method
- On completion of the
training candidates will be selected following a written examination
and a series of presentations and technical skills evaluations.
Remunerations
- Basic
salary - Rs. , to , + Lecture Fee for working on off days.
