I have studied 'English' as a subject for my G.C.E(A/L) examination(). Under the subject I've studied both Literature and Language which made my path to the university. Even during my First Year at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, I studied 'English' as a subject covering both in depth of English Language and Literature and I recently graduated from University of Sri Jayewardenepura with a second class upper division Hons degree in the field of Economics. Out of my passion to teach the beauty of English language, I started my teaching career right after I finished A/L exams (in ) by joining a reputed institute in the country. I continued to give my best to the students at the afore mentioned institute until the month of February in . Along with that I have been conducting individual classes and small group classes for students, school leavers and adults to improve their knowledge in English speaking and writing. Now with the pandemic, I mostly conduct classes via zoom (mostly) which is comfortable for both the teacher and the student.
