The Riding School has been the hub and engine behind horse sports and horse activity in the island since its initiation in 2001. It is the brain child of enigmatic Suranjith Premadasa. A well known name is motor racing circuits in the island before he turned his hand to horse riding.
A family run business, having its origin in a hobby, which turned into a business we started with a stable of 4 very special horses. Today, we manage a 40 horse stable, with a presence in most areas of the island. We have a very successful breeding program, riding program, schooling program, hotel program and riding holiday program, besides many other equestrian activities.
The Premadasa Riding School has evolved to being the main provider of horse services in the island and a driving force behind equestrian development in the country. Over the past 13 years, PRS has initiated dressage competitions, show jumping competitions, mounted games, beach derbies, horse shows, tent pegging events and team building events etc.
