Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach and manage the academic delivery activities of Geotechnical engineering-related subjects for undergraduates.
- Teach subjects mainly related to Structural Engineering, Hydraulics Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Highway/Transportation Engineering and Project Management.
- The ability to manage academic affairs and good teaching practices are essential.
Qualification & Requirements
- BSc (First class or Second Class degree) in Civil Engineering and a PhD relevant to the discipline
- Postgraduate qualification and/or professional
qualifications in the area of geotechnical / civil engineering would be an added advantage.
- Minimum of years of industry experience
- At least two years of experience in academics are preferred
- Experience in the workshop, laboratory design, and implementation is preferred.
- Exceptionally good oral and written communication skills, teamwork and leadership skills and the capacity to work under minimum supervision.
- Experience and skills in teaching and conducting assessments using online platforms are desirable.
- The ideal candidate must be a successful career academic and should have research experience in the civil engineering industry.
