Role / Responsibilities
- Overall in charge of the
academic development of the middle school.
- Primary responsibility for
the day to day educational activities including maintaining high
academic standards consistent with the schools values, curriculum and
policies.
- Accountable for student
achievement, must serve as a mediator between parent and teacher.
- Responsible for all matters
relating to managing the students and teachers, including preparing and
implementing the schools strategic plan.
- Interview prospective
faculty members, evaluate staff performance and promote team spirit
within the teaching staff.
Requirements
- Must hold either a Post
Graduate Diploma / Masters in Education / Business Administration or
Graduate with post qualifying experience.
- Have extensive knowledge and
experience in managing school operations in a senior capacity.
- Be a learning centered
Principal, committed to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Be a committed, creative,
innovative and passionate educator possessing interpersonal skills to
lead the school through its next phase of development.
- Experience in the London
Examinations (Cambridge and Edexcel) programmes will be at an advantage.
