Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in Mathematics and
Statistics officers to be employed in the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer force
Eligibility
* Be a citizen of Sri Lanka
* Should be physically fit.
Educational and Professional Qualifications
* Should have a General degree or Special degree with a class relevant
to Mathematics
* Preference would be given for those who possess a Master’s
degree
* Should have at least one year of teaching experience in Mathematics
and Statistics
* Age should be less than years as at th June (The upper age
limit will not be applicable for those who are employed in the
government sector)

Application Procedure
* Applications should be submitted as per the specimen with certified
copies of the following documents by registered post to reach the
address given below on or before th June .
* Birth Certificate
* Educational Certificates
* National Identity Card
* Two Character certificates obtained recently.
* Grama Niladhari Certificate
* Certificates of the Head of the institute
* Certificates of Sports/Extra curricular activities
* Other relevant certificates
* The post applied should be indicated on the top left hand corner of
the envelope. Those who are employed in the government sector should
submit their applications along with the recommendations of the head of
the department. Incorrect applications and applications received after
the closing date will be rejected.
* After the successful completion of training, Lecturer in Mathematics
& Statistics will be commissioned in the rank of Captain.
