Yoshida Shokanji International School is located in a picturesque landscaped area in Sapugaskanda, Makola.
Most Venerable Banagala Upatissa Nayake Thero, Chief Sangha Nayake of Japan and the Chairman of Mahabodhi Society of Sri Lanka, commenced operations of Yoshida Shokanji International School in the year .
The school now has more than pupils from Nursery to Advanced Level, teaching both National Curriculum as well as Cambridge Curriculum.
We are a unique educational establishment fostering Buddhist ethos and traditions whilst encouraging a multi-religious, multi-ethnic environment.
We also organise annual field trips, social activities and religious programmes.

Applications are called from qualified and experienced Graduates / Diploma Holders / Trained Teachers with Excellent Communication Skills, Fluency in English with - years experience and capability to teach both National & Cambridge Curricular from the neighbouring area.
