We are an independent National School guided by the Buddhist Philosophy
and driven by a vision and mission, teaching the National curriculum in
the English medium to take up examinations conducted by the Department
of Examination of the Ministry of Education, Sri Lanka
Our student population is over and our staff strength is over ,
incorporated in , and will reach years in January .
We are looking for qualified and experienced personnel for immediate
engagement as teacher of upper school who are able to teach National
curriculum in English Medium for the following subjects
Buddhism
Eastern Music
English
Health Science
Mathematics
Science
Qualifications - A first Degree from any state or UGC approved foreign
university in Sri Lanka or abroad, or from any institute of repute
registered with Tertiary Education Authority, Teacher Training
Certificate from NIE or any college of Education (Recent retirees will
also be considered)
Post graduate qualification (Dip in Ed, M.A, MSc) from any state or
foreign University.
AND
Achievements in sports and aesthetic activities are an added advantage.
You should be passionate about teaching, dynamic, possess leadership
qualities, positive attitudes, listening skills, classroom management
abilities with excellent communication skills in English. Total
commitment for the tasks entrusted and loyalty towards the school is
essential while ability to work long hours as and when required is
mandatory.
Age - Between years to years. Those have who retired from state
service but below years will be considered.
Duty Location - No , Samagi Mawatha, Hokandara, Thalawathugoda
Working hours - . am to . pm, and ready to work extended hours.
