Vice Principal / Head of Primary
Looking for top caliber educationist with a proven track record
passionate, dynamic and inspirational person who has a sound knowledge
of the technicalities of School Administration plus good management
competence to lead it section.
Each section of the college is managed by a Vice Principal / Head of
Primary who is directly responsible to the Principal through the Deputy
Principal. All vice principals / Head of Primary are expected to
improve the performance and standards of the students in their
respective areas.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for day to day management of the school.
- Provide and lead the strategic direction of the primary
school in line with the whole school vision and development plan and as
directed by the Principal
- Responsible for initiative, prioritize and lead the unit
improvement activities through effective strategic leadership and
planning which supports the vision, mission and values of the school.
- Ensure the standards of teaching and learning process in
all areas within the unit.
- Provide clear view of the unit’s amis so that all
staff knows what is required of them and are competent and committed to
achieving the school’s goals.
- Responsible for the systems are in place for the
performance management of unit’s staff and that their
effectiveness is monitored.

Qualifications and Experience
- Must be a graduate in relevant field with Post Graduate
Diploma in Education.
- Must have trained teachers certificate / diploma in teacher
education in a teachers’ training college or college of
education.
- Professional qualifications linked to education with more
than three () years teaching experience.
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of team
- Competent level of IT proficiency.
