SOS childrens villages Sri Lanka, a member organization of
SOS-Kinderdorf International, provides total care to the childrens who
have lost their parents as well as the childrens who are at risk of
losing the care of their biological family. The organization
has well established projects in Piliyandala, Nuwara Eliya, Galle,
Anuradhapura, Monaragala, Batticaloa, Gandara, Peraliya, Bandarawela
and Jaffna and invites applications from highly committed individuals
who meet the requisite qualifications for the following position.
Course Instructor - Male - Agriculture Vocational Training centre
Malpotha
The ideal candidate should be an agriculture graduate from a recognized
university or a diploma holder from a recognized agriculture
institute. He should have at least - years experience as a
lecturer / instructor in Agriculture and animal husbandry. He
will be responsible for conducting the newly established one year
certificate level course of study in Agriculture and Animal husbandry.
Preference will be given to those who have good management skills,
experience in administration, computer literacy. A good
command of spoken and written English and sound knowledge in organic
agriculture are added qualifications.
A commitment to work with youth from marginalized families and
willingness to reside in a rural / agricultural environment are
essential requirements.
It is preferred that applicants under years of age and the salary is
negotiable.
