NCPC provides training and awareness related to all the services they provide. Apart from that centre conducts training programs on novel environmental concepts such as Life Cycle analysis, Eco design, Eco innovation, Environmental management and accounting, Responsible care and responsible production.

Two types of training programs are conducted by NCPC.
Scheduled training programs - Identifying industry demand, NCPC design annual training calendar which will be published in the web site. Industries, institutes, consultants and academics can enroll for above training programs based on their interest.

In house training programs - In addition, NCPC conducts tailor-made, industry specific in-house awareness and training programs for interested industries/organizations on environmental related areas
