Our training courses provide the trainees with a basic theoretical and a practical knowledge of the subjects mentioned above. For anybody interested and qualified after the basic course can join the Advance course as well.
Please note that only students maximum will be selected per subject. After the completion of the course a theory and a practical test will be held in the th month. Students who successfully complete the course will be presented with the HTV Academy certificate.
Our main training location is the Auditorium of the National Library of Sri Lanka. However for filming and editing, students are expected to come to the selected locations and also to Heritage Television Office in Malabe. Students are provided with cameras and other equipment necessary for training. How ever having your own camera or editing set up is an advantage.
Students who study all four subjects and get good results will be offered to work for Heritage Television on a contract basis. All our best students will be recommended for Television and Radio channels of Sri Lanka.
