The Highlands College located on High Level Road Nugegoda was established in 1960. It is a known fact that Highalnds has a unique history serving with honour and esteem in the field of Education in Sri Lanka. In 2005 the school was acquired by the able management of Sujatha Vidyalaya, Nugegoda. Highlands is a private and co-educational school fully recognized by the Ministry of Education.
