About the institute
GIMI - Garment Industry Management Institute is the only institution which provides an opportunity for school leavers to enter the apparel industry and learn from the basics. Established in 1990 and registered with the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC), the Garment Industry Management Institute (GIMI) has successfully trained over 10,000 students whilst ensuring that all secure internship training and employment. At GIMI, students have a wide choice of courses which can be studied in English medium as well in English / Sinhala mixed medium.
