Beacon Hill Academy is a unique institute located in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka.
It was established in in order to make higher education available
free-of-charge to young people from all levels of society in the upcountry
region.
The school offers a one-year, full-time diploma course starting each January.
The program is free and is open to unmarried students aged - from the Nuwara
Eliya district or Welimada area. Applications are available each November.
The program is conducted in the English-medium and is taught by both foreign and
local teachers. The curriculum combines a quality liberal arts education with
practical vocational training. Students study:
