Do past papers as much as possible. Correct them by yourself, if you have any doubts get teachers help. Work according to a time table. Better to use rocket time table method. Search it on Google. You'll find.

this time period is enough for you.. don't go for too much classes. go for one and study everyday..
make a time table for your studies. keep your mind only your target and inspiration will automatically come to you.

Comment author woman

Well.. I did my O/Ls long time back and got 8D's. So you actually can do it. All you need is some focused studying, doing lots of questions, looking at model answers to see how to construct an answer etc. Start looking at questions. Then you would realize how and what you need to study. Too much tuition classes won't help. What will be more beneficial is to have your own plan and schedule for studies and sticking to it. Also do some group work with good friends who have similar or better capabilities.
All the best!!

Dear student,
Really happy about your target to get 9As. if you have dream or target in your mind, its the best way to get 9As. some students are talented but some need to study more to face the exam. try your maximum effort to understand the theory and do it in practical way to get it more clear rather than filling your mind with full of theory and memorising. if the subject is mathematics you don't wont to study and read the book. best way make your mind free and practice all the mathematical formula every day. if you need more clarifications don't be hesitate to ask the questions. I can freely explain how to study without getting stressed.

Happy Studying :)

Dear student,
I appreciated your ambition, to achieve your result; you have to consider those things.
Please note that your target is achievable for any student therefore you can get 9 A's easily. You have to look last 6 years O/L exam past paper and answer the question without referring your note or text book. Then compare your answer against correct answer wrote in the book. Now you can assess your status and your preparation level for the final exam as well as your weak areas.
then you study those areas with any suitable method which is comfortable for you like what we can say, the optimum time for the selected subject, reading or writing- short note.. etc. other than above, you can share your knowledge with your friend, even you can get the help of your teachers to solve your problem related to your subject. So try to maximize utilize time with timetable, do an everyday study as you prefer, but don't waste your time with unwanted things.
Good luck

Ask yourself pre-reading questions.  For example:  What is the topic, and what do you already know about it?  Why has the instructor assigned this reading at this point in the semester?
Identify and define any unfamiliar terms.

Bracket the main idea or thesis of the reading, and put an asterisk next to it. Pay particular attention to the introduction or opening paragraphs to locate this information.

Put down your highlighter.  Make marginal notes or comments instead. Every time you feel the urge to highlight something, write instead. You can summarize the text, ask questions, give assent, protest vehemently. You can also write down key words to help you recall where important points are discussed. Above all, strive to enter into a dialogue with the author.

Write questions in the margins, and then answer the questions in a reading journal or on a separate piece of paper.  If you’re reading a textbook, try changing all the titles, subtitles, sections and paragraph headings into questions.  For example, the section heading “The Gas Laws of Boyle, Charles, and Avogadro” might become “What are the gas laws of Boyle, Charles, and Avogadro?”

Make outlines, flow charts, or diagrams that help you to map and to understand ideas visually.  (See below for examples).

Read each paragraph carefully and then determine "what it says" and “what it does.” Answer “what it says” in only one sentence. Represent the main idea of the paragraph in your own words. To answer “what it does,” describe the paragraph’s purpose within the text, such as “provides evidence for the author’s first main reason” or “introduces an opposing view.”

Write a summary of an essay or chapter in your own words. Do this in less than a page. Capture the essential ideas and perhaps one or two key examples. This approach offers a great way to be sure that you know what the reading really says or is about.

Write your own exam question based on the reading.
Teach what you have learned to someone else! Research clearly shows that teaching is one of the most effective ways to learn. If you try to explain aloud what you have been studying,
(1) you’ll transfer the information from short-term to long-term memory, and
(2) you’ll quickly discover what you understand — and what you don’t.

Quickly cover all the past papers while revising all notes. Don't consider much about the section still didn't do, just try to score from that you covered and already know. Take the help from you teachers for solve the doubts. Thank you

Do past papers as much as possible.

I am a student who obtained 9A's in GCE OL 2017. Anyone could get best results, if they really work hard. Do past papers as much as possible, no matters how many times you do the same papers. Revise whatever you learnt at school on the same day. Have six hours of sleep. Take break after every 1 hour of studies. Soon after coming from school do not start studying, instead take a break and then start studying. Do not go much classes, so that one could consume time. Implement a time table and work according to it. Do not waste time. Work hard and and achieve your goals! My heartily wishes to my sisters and brothers to face the upcoming GCE OL exams successfully.

Comment author woman

I am going to face my O/L examination on 23rd of May 2022. I am not prepared well yet. I am requesting you to give me some tips to get 9A for O/L examination. Please Urgent. reply by mail or this website plz

Comment author woman

Actually all you need is to stop going for too much classes. you have to be self aware that you know every topic plus subtopic in your book. Just study by understanding every single detail, you do not have to memorize it but read it efficiently so this method will kept in your mind. Further you can keep an example for each topic. If you have any questions to clarify. Pls do ask from your class teacher because your parents are paying soo much of money to bring you up. So we are paying teachers to clarify doubts. So keep asking them. If ur like awkward to ask in class you can ask them online. I prefer and also you can divide your subjects according to the week. For ex: If you have 7 subjects divide them into 7 days. So you can study 1 subject in 1 day but if you have more then 7 subjects maybe you can study them on Saturday and Sunday (always study the hard subjects on week days). This is all I have to say about getting A*'s. Wish you good luck on studying and btw these methods are efficient
Thank u

Hi, me too in your age, you must start studying from now, because we do not have no time to waste from today. I am too starting to study, and my target is getting 9as in O/L. First you should select your favourite subject (my favourite subject is IT) and start from your favorite subject, study your favourite lesson and create short notes and answer past paper questions, day by day you have to increase your studying hours and you must have a 8 hours sleep in every day, You can study and morning, night or evening, My selection is night, because morning I have to go to school, by the way, best of luck and STUDY HAPPY

Comment author woman

Sir, I want to leave the school and do O/Ls as a private candidate. What you think about it? Give me some tips to concentrate my studies please.
