I did A/L exam in 2014 & 2015 in Bio steam & I could not get good results.
So now I want to study in art stream and going to write exam in 2018.
How can I change my stream?

I hope to do my 3rd attempt as a private candidate for 2018 A/L in the bio science.
And hope to do ICT instead of Physics, and other 2 subjects are Biology and Chemistry.
So can you please tell the procedure to be followed when there is a change in this subject as a private candidate in the 3rd attempt.

I did my A/L in 2015/2016 in Bio stream. Did in 2017 in arts stream without doing a project. So can I do another attempt in Bio or Arts stream? My 2017 results is valid or not without a project?
My son did his A/L in 2016 and got a S pass only for physics. In 2017 he collected his admissions but did not sit for the exam. Now he wants to do the exam in 2018 by changing Chemistry subject. He decided to follow IT, Combined maths and Physics.
1 Can he applied as a school candidate?
2 When apply as a private candidate does he need to complete his base assessment test?

I am going to attend GCE A/L exam for the third time as a private candidate. I did Chemistry in my 1st and 2nd time but I want to change it to ICT. What are the steps I should follow?

As per information you wrote, You have already get 2 attempts at your school. So you can't apply again from the school. Therefore there is no way to change the stream and ready for the exam as you expected. Then, when application will call at 2018, just apply and face the exam.
Here you have to give a valid medical certificate that should prove that you are not mentally good enough to write the exam. Because according to Srilankan Government's you are provided three continuous sittings to pass the exam.
You can apply as a private applicant in any stream.
You can apply as a private candidate. Apply with your subject when application will call. All the best.
You can do A/L as a private candidate.But you should do SBA. For that you should register at provincial department of education whenever ministry of education advertise it
1. There is no restriction in change of stream.
2. You can Apply as a Private candidate after changing the stream and for this you need to register separately in the Department of Examinations.
3. Any way since you have attempted two time before you have only one attempt left to enter state universities through whatever stream.
there is no any issue for you to apply as a private candidate under art stream.

දැනට මාගේ වයස අවුරුදු 34කි . පළමුවර සහ දෙවනවර උසස් පෙළ සදහා පෙනී සිටියේ ජීව විද්යා අංශයෙනි . මාහට නැවත කළා අංශයෙන් උසස් පෙළ කිරීමට අවශ්යය. එම නිසා 2021 උසස්පෙළ සදහා පෞද්ගලික අයදුම්කරැවෙකු ලෙස අයදුම්පත් යොමුකල යුත්තේ කෙසේදැයි පැහැදිලිකර දෙනමෙන් කාරැණිකව ඉල්ලාසිටිමි.
