I did my A/L exam by commerce stream in 2019 and I got ccc as my result. I would like to continue my future career in a bank. I need to know, what kind of courses I should be followed and how I improve my abilities to get job in bank.

Hi.
Greetings !
Since you have completed your A/Ls in Commerce and has the knowledge in Accounting , you are in the right track to pursue your dreams.
For an ENTRY position in a private bank , Sometimes they do not check for any Higher Education Qualifications but only your A/Ls. This differs from one BANK to another, but to apply for a higher position having an Academic Qualification ( Degree ) or a professional Qualification ( CIMA , ACCA ) would definitely provide you the added competitive edge.
Undergraduates usually are provided with internship opportunities in Banks ( this too depends on the institution you study ) and while continuing your education you will get the opportunity be employed and receive proper hands on experience.
But once you are in working for a BANK , you will have to follow a Banking Qualification . and you can start off with Intermediate in Applied Banking & Finance (IABF). Once this is done you can follow the next step Diploma in Applied Banking & Finance (DABF). check the link to receive more information - https://www.ibsl.lk/courses.html
Also please note that to move into a higher position , having a Degree from a Recognised University or a completion of a professional qualification will definitely support you
But if you need to apply directly for a MANAGEMENT TRAINEE position ( who will be trained to hold management positions in future ), most Banks will require an Undergraduate Degree or a Professional Qualification ( Fully completed ). If you have Both together it will be a huge advantage. There will be an evaluation process starting with an examination and then a series of interviews to select a handful of candidates for these positions.
Along with the educational qualifications, what will help you the most to secure a proper position in a BANK will be having the correct attitude , qualities along with the required level of language proficiency.
Hope you received some insight for your query
Wish you luck
