I did my A/L in year 2004 commerce stream and I passed only 2 subjects now I would like to attend 2nd time only for failed subject. Can I do?

My opinion is to sit for all subject. Then it would be worth for your future. You will definitely pass the exam well.
No, you cannot sit only one subject. The thing is that you can give more time for maths than other subject if you have confidence to do others without much effort.

If you need to obtain valid advance level certificate you should sit for all subjects. Without that you cant obtain all the results in same certificate.

Can do. But no use. Because for A/L qualification all three subjects in one attempt should be taken. Adding subjects in two attempts like in O/L will not be done.

උසස් පෙළ එක විෂයක් එකවරකට කරලා පාස් උනාට තේරුමක් නැහැ. උසස් පෙළ පාස් වීමෙන් බලාපොරොත්තු වෙන්නේ විශ්වවිද්‍යාල වරම් ලබා ගැනීම නේ. ඒකට විෂයන් සියල්ල එකවර කරමින් සමත් වෙන්න ඕනේ.
