What are the main subject in A/L maths and can I do ICT with maths?

I sat A/L exam 1st time in bio stream and 2nd time I could only sat for Biology. Can I sit 3rd time in bio stream but without physics, substitute IT in English medium and other 2 subjects in Tamil medium?

Yes you can. Specially if you are planning to specialize on Computer Science at the Uni level, that will be the ideal combination. Furthermore, many computer disciplines such as Data Science, Machine Learning involves Math (Linear Algebra etc.). Even if you are planning your career in programming, that combination will be of great benefit.

Maneesha, you can do that. There are no any main subjects in any
scheme. That will depend on the course that you select for the
university entrance. If you want to do Engineering, then you should do
Combined maths, physics & Chemistry. But if you want to do
Computer science or IT or any related field then you can drop chemistry
and do IT for the A/L's.
But my opinion is, first you have to decide what is the field that suit
you most.
Then pls go to this link and download the university admission book. In
that book, they mentioned what are the subjects you should do for a
particular course.

If I do combined maths, physics and ICT for my A/L ( dropped chemistry ) can I get a computer science (AI, data science, software engineering, etc) degree in Sri Lankan government university? What are the main universities and can I go to Moratuwa university ?
