Hi Swetha,
If you are eligible to follow A/L subjects with your current O/L results , Its not needed to do all subjects of O/L.

You have to do only the three subjects that you need passes for you second shy. You do not have to do all the 9 subjects. If you are schooling, speak to the school administration for further clarification as some schools have certain rules which you have to follow to accept you in A Level classes. All the best!

If you had failed in maths you need to repeat it only. A student needs six subjects to do A/L three C's and three S passes in a sitting including a pass in language 1

Its better if you can do all the subjects, then it will be good value for your future. Mathematics and English are very important for your higher studies. But some foreign universities offer degree under OL results also. Think wisely.
Good Luck.

To qualify for A/L's, a minimum of 6 passes with three (3) C passes and passes in Sinhala / Tamil Language, Mathematics and English are required.
