Royal International School (RIS) was established in 1991 with the sole intention of providing an International level education in English medium for the children in the North Western Province of Sri Lanka.

With humble beginnings of just a handful of students, today the school has grown to a student population of 2500! We offer and encourage English Medium education as a fluent command in the English language is essential for achieving an effective education as well as for building rewarding careers.
