About the institute

The academy is operated under the guidance of multi-award winning English television presenter, British-qualified teacher, and speech examiner, Noeline Honter, who is Director and Chief Executive Officer of the establishment. |
Subjects and Courses
SPOKEN ENGLISH
- Spoken English is an English course designed to help learners develop their English communication skills. The course focuses on day-to-day conversations and includes listening and speaking components. It is also supplemented by written work relevant to each module intended to develop the learners’ ability to speak effectively and confidently.
- Levels: Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate, Advanced
- Business Communication is English in a commercial context suitable for learners embarking on studying the language for occupational and professional requirements. The course is a comprehensive guide in the development of the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The course is additionally useful as an introduction to the business and commercial information it presents.
- IELTS is an intensive preparation course for academic and general training candidates. Professional instruction and concentrated practice are provided to help candidates achieve the required band score
- Speech and Drama [Elocution] is suitable for young learners and young adults. The course will help them develop good speech, confidence, and imagination. It promotes an appreciation of literature at an early age.
- Students are trained for success at international and local LEA examinations.
- English Literature is an intensive preparation course for students sitting the local and London Ordinary and Advanced Level examinations. The course is modified according to the reading texts required for the exams.
- English for the School Syllabus is designed to improve the English language skills of children attending national and international schools. This course will additionally improve and develop proficiency in reading, writing and spelling.
- Specialised training programmes are available in a number of areas including
- Secretarial English
- Telephoning skills
- Receptionists’ Communication
- We also offer English training programmes in other specific occupations.
- English on Demand is intended to meet the individual requirements of business organisations with custom-tailored, needs-based English training programmes [e.g. English for Hoteliering].
- Group training could be arranged at the LEA lecture rooms or in situ, as required.
